FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQ

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?

We do our best to send your orders as quickly as we can. There will be some processing time before orders are dispatched to allow for us to get your order created, packaged and sent. Processing time depends on the items within your order. Standard domestic shipping will typically take 2-10 business days to arrive. Express domestic shipping will take 1-3 business days to arrive. We also offer standard international shipping, with an estimated 6-10 business days to arrive. For express international shipping, it is 2-4 business days to arrive. (We are not responsible for delays after your order has been handed over to the post).

how do you pack and ship orders?

Once your order has been created we do our best to ensure the safety of your purchased items - while keeping the planet in mind. Fine art prints A4 or smaller, and all cards are sent flat in a recyclable cello bag or leftover bubble wrap (to protect it from the weather) and packaged with cardboard to keep it sturdy. Fine art prints A3 or larger will be sent in a tube and rolled with acid-free tissue paper. Both ways keep your print protected from the weather and from any bumps it may experience in its transportation.

Do you accept returns?

Unfortunately we do not accept returns. Please choose you artworks carefully before ordering. If there is any damage of your order upon arrival we will happily replace it free of charge.

Can i cancel my order?

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of making the order. Please contact me with any queries regarding cancellations.

how do I look after my print?

Please handle your fine art prints with care. Do not touch the surface of your print, as oils in your skin can discolour the print over time. Try handling from the edges only, or, with gloves, or, in the hands of professional framers. Ensure your framers use acid-free materials (e.g.: acid-free matt board). Keep your print stored or displayed flat at all times. Keep your print away from direct sunlight or direct source of heat, as this can fade the print and warp the paper (e.g.: do not leave your print in a hot car or near a heater).

what is the difference between a 'fine art print' and a regular print?

A fine art print is the closest possible replication to an original artwork, also know as an archival pigment print or giclée print. The process uses pigment based inks, archival quality paper and a wide format inkjet printer. This is compared to a standard print (e.g.: printing on a home printer), which uses a lower quality of ink and paper, creating a much less durable print that will fade faster, discolour overtime and not hold colours as brilliantly. A fine art print is intended to last a life time and be handled with care.

how are your prints created?

An original artwork will be scanned at 300dpi on an industrial flat-bed scanner and capture the artwork in a digital format. This file can then be reproduced as many times as desired through the printing process. All our fine art prints are printed onto 310gsm Cotton Rag paper.
